Ride 'em Cowboy... roper tracks his prey.

Ropin' steers is always a true gauge of a true cowboy. Cowboys... no, not the New Yorkers that sport boots to be chic. I'm talking about real cowboys...

Kids that grew up with horses and cows... did "chores" and never felt better than when they were riding down the river levee on their home.

Well, these guys grew up and the idea of the old cattle drives still rings like gold to their psyches.

For that reason, the great skill that is needed to master a lasso and to grab a steers legs from under it... while on a speeding horse... is just what these guys measure themselves against.
Ropin' team gets a good time.

For most city folk... this doesn't mean much. But, this ranch and farm life doesn't just end when developers clean another piece of land.

The Rio Grande Valley Ranch on Strahan and Canutillo is the place for some ridin' and ropin'.... You can sit up on the fence and pretend your at a real ranch. See you there.
