The Upper Valley is still the king when it comes to providing this northern region of the Chihuahuan Desert with its greenspace and color. Some of the most spectacular color comes from the few fruit orhards that are still surviving the urban sprawl that seems to each everything it touches like acid.
There is still one fruit and pecan orchard in the Upper Valley that offers the residents and wildlife the spectacular vistas of walls of color. Even the expanse of plum blossoms form a magestic wall of white with a fragrance that is unsurpassed.
