With New Orleans still in the rebuilding mode; Hurricane Bonnie was not one of the welcomed guests back to the city that was almost wiped off the map by Hurrican Katrina in 2005.

Hurricane Bonnie dumped water from the Gulf of Mexico all the way to Arizona, New Mexico and West Texas. The El Paso/Las Cruces/Cd. Juarez area was drenched for several days and Ruidoso came into harms way with the Rio Concho flooding throught the center of town.
