Upper Valley Sunflower Shows Off.

Many new homes that have been built recently in the Upper Valley, especially those along Artcraft Road were purchased with shady credit scores and predatory mortgages. As a consequence this blight of new homes has increased the number of homes without any landscaping... gravel front yards and a huge crop of weeds in the back.

But, one Upper Valley resident had the country spirit when they planted some giant Sunflowers. Rising well above some very stunted corn and chile this Sunflower brought out the color for all to see and for many bees to feast.

Sunflowers will also attract birds and make a great way for residents to communicate with their neighbors without saying a word. Just one giant Sunflower peering into your neighbors yard every morning says "Good Morning to You".
