Singing some very stylish funky tunes!

Usuallly it is "add some rain" and things start to grow. But, in the case of the most captivating nightspot in the Upper Valley it is just the opposite. Ms. Pat Webb, owner of Aceitunas Beer Garden noted that "finally the rains had stopped" and the patio was once again filled with guests.

What a little cooperation from Mother Nature can do was never so evident recently as we ended our "Night on the Town" in the Upper Valley at Aceitunas. The patio was comfy and the whole garden was filled with people. It looked like the scene of the perfect Upper Valley party at one of your friends house.

The band was playing a medley of great songs and those inside the bar were having a ball. I mean people were totally enjoying themselves and you could tell that they felt completely comfortable. There was no hesitation for people to get up and dance themselves silly.
Enjoying the beautiful night under the stars with friends.

Right in the heart of the Upper Valley; Aceitunas Beer Garden is the place for all ages and styles of clientele to come together and have a great time. I mean there were recent transplants to the Upper Valley and the Westside... and some from our sister city, Cd. Juarez. There were businessmen, politicians, college professors, cowboys, college dropouts... oops! and plenty of college students relaxing and enjoying the best of what El Paso has to offer.

The mood is just perfect... great song, music, dancing and atmosphere.

This famous watering hole has been the staging ground for more fun and probably every great band that has ever groomed thier skills in El Paso or Southern New Mexico and that meant the weekends have always been all about having a great time at Aceitunas. And as some of the long-time patrons know... now it isn't closed during the winter.

There were plenty of out of town guests too! We spoke with some of our recent UTEP and NMSU grads; one who was back for a family wedding and relaxing from her never ending study at St. Mary's School of Law in San Antonio. "Back to the books!"
Gettin' up for the photographer. What good sports.

There is never a time when you can't find the perfect place to sit at a table with friends, stand at one of the two bars, listen to music or dance to your hearts content or just mingle outside. Like we said, it had the atmosphere of one VERY successful party.
