Westside Bowl 2005 - The District Crown at Stake. Franklin hammers T-Birds.
The Cougars leap right over Coronado and all the way to the State Semi-Final game. The loss of Coronado QB Jason Miranda with a broken collar bone in first half kept this game from being closer.

Coronado was undefeated... Franklin was having an off year with the graduation of Alex Torres & Co.; so the T-Birds should have had an easy time putting the Cougars away. Right? Uhhhhh... Not so fast.

Westside Bowl 2007 - T-Birds Take Back Crown.
It was another nail-biter. But, this time it was the T-Birds that came back and the Coronado defense slammed the door shut on the Cougar comeback and left no doubt who was the best of the Westside best. T-Birds win their first Westside Crown in several years.

Westside Bowl 2008 - Coronado Wins Close One for 2nd.
Coronado was again just to strong defensively as their defense kept the Cougars from scoring late in the 4th quarter. T-Birds hold on to win another Westside Bowl trophy.

Westside Bowl 2009 - T-Birds Rock! 3rd in Row.
Coronado, once again, comes into the Westside rivalry game with an undefeated record. But, unlike 2006, the T-Birds shred the Cougars to go 10-0 for the first time under coach Don Brooks.

Westside Bowl 2010 - Cougars Roar Back for Win!
(Coming Soon!) Both Coronado and Franklin had survived the brutal District 1-5A and there was playoff spots and a championship on the line. But, the Franklin Cougars overcame a 23-13 3rd quarter defeceit to score a last minute TD to win 26-23.
