Earth Day - April 22th - R U Going GREEN????
I
magine how backward we were when we thought the earth was flat. At that time no one even thought about the earth as a living entity... which it seems to be... or you can say "It supports life."
But, that was a long time ago and it has just been since the counterculture of the 60's that people started openly talking about taking care of the earth as it takes care of us.
Well, Earth Day is just such a day. And the founders of this celebration... in it's recent form have deemed it a day to contemplate the relationship between us... i.e humans... and the rest of the earthlings... i.e. plants, animals & ???? ... AND the planet itself.
There will be lectures and celebrations all over town to let everyone learn more about this relationship we have with the planet.
